Welcome to Mimi’s Boutique Salon! For as long as I can remember, I was enamored with all things beauty. From fashion to hair to makeup, it has been an integral part of who I am and what I am passionate about. With my bachelor’s degree in Fashion Retail Marketing and, later, becoming a licensed cosmetologist I have achieved the dream of marrying my favorite industries. I am a successful Latina hairstylist, colorist, and keratin specialist in the Philadelphia region with 16 years behind the chair. Having had the opportunity to learn from the best and travel the globe from Paris,France to Melbourne, Australia to some of our greatest here at home like Nancy Braun, Sam Villa and Daniel Mason Jones, has helped carve my unique visions of classic and carefree styles together. Another incredibly fulfilling aspect of my hair journey has been the opportunity to share my devotion to education. Becoming a Cezanne Artiste Educator has been one of my greatest achievements. My educator experience has also allowed me the chance to partake in other aspects in my industry by belonging to an elite education team where I taught all aspects of up styling, cutting and Balayage and coloring techniques. When I am not in the salon creating beauty, you will often find me with my family. My amazing husband Jose, and two beautiful adult daughters who inspire me every day to be the best version of myself. I also enjoy the company of my 14-year-old yorkiepoo Gizmo, my “granddog” Minnie and the latest addition “Oliver" my daughter’s cat. It goes without saying, family is my greatest treasure. However, nothing beats the joy of making people happy every day. Be it with the latest color technique or a transformative keratin treatment, or my latest obsession with weft extensions, being able to provide what my client has envisioned is very rewarding. The greatest gift is the amazing relationships I make both with my peers and with clients which I know will span a lifetime.
